This Award is open to any company based in Fife with more than fifty employees that has been trading for over two years and can demonstrate it has delivered significant performance achievements and improvements in the last two years.

This Award is not open to businesses employing less than 50 staff (for which there are separate Awards). It is not open to businesses that have been trading for less than two years (for which there is a separate Award).

Young Business Award

This Award is open to any business based in Fife that has been trading for less than two years and can demonstrate a high degree of entrepreneurship and tangible operational and financial success since its inception.

This Award is not open to businesses that started trading before June 2020 (for which a separate Award is available).

Community & Partnership Award

This Award is open to any company that can demonstrate a successful civic or community partnership in Fife in the last year.

Your company does not have to be based in Fife to apply for this Award, but the project(s) or organisation(s) or cause(s) you are supporting must be in Fife.

The partnership could be with a local school, providing pupils with a greater understanding of business and giving them career and employment insights and opportunities. It could be a fundraising project for a local charity or community group. It might be an initiative in support of the Armed Forces or the NHS or another public service.

Customer Service Award

This Award is open to any organisation in that can demonstrate it has an ongoing focus on improving customer service standards and outcomes.

Your organisation does not have to be based in Fife to apply for this Award, but the customer service projects or programmes you are seeking recognition for must directly impact on your Fife customers.

This Award is not open to any organisation whose principal activity is advising, training, or consulting others on how to improve customer service.

This Award is open to any family business based in Fife that can show it is making a real impact in its industry.

This Award is open to any organisation based in Fife that can demonstrate that training and developing staff is a pivotal part of its business planning and performance management. It can be a specific programme aimed at a particular group of workers (i.e. apprenticeships or leadership) or it can be your general approach to training/retraining to ensure your skills profile always matches your operational needs.

This Award is not open to any organisation whose principal activity is promoting training and development or advising, training, or consulting others on it.

Marketing & Creativity & Innovation Award

This Award is open to any organisation that can demonstrate tangible marketing successes in the last two years.

Your organisation does not need to be based in Fife to apply for this Award, but the marketing project(s) or campaign(s) you are seeking recognition for must be taking place in Fife.

It can be a single project if you are a business or a specific campaign if you are a charity, or it can be your general approach to marketing or campaigning. It can cover all marketing/promotional tools, techniques, and platforms, including email, social media, events, SEO or print, or a combination of them.

This Award is not open to any organisation whose principal activity is providing marketing advice, training, or consultancy to others.

This Award is open to any company based in Fife with ten or less employees that has been trading for more than two years and can demonstrate it has delivered performance achievements and improvements in the last two years.

This Award is not open to a sole trader (a separate Award is available for this type of business) or to firms employing more than ten employees (for which there are separate Awards). It is not open to businesses that have been trading for less than two years (for which there is also a separate Award).

Medium Business Award

This Award is open to any company based in Fife with between 11 and 50 employees that has been trading for over 24 months and can demonstrate it has delivered significant performance achievements and improvements in the last two years.

This Award is not open to businesses employing ten or fewer staff or employing more than fifty staff (for which there are separate Awards). It is not open to businesses that have been trading for less than two years (for which there is a separate Award).

Sustainability & NetZero Award

This Award is open to any organisation that can demonstrate that it is pursuing policies and practices that are making it more sustainable and reducing its carbon footprint in Fife.

Your organisation does not have to be based in Fife to apply for this Award but the project you are seeking recognition for must be happening in Fife.

This Award is not open to any organisation whose principal activity is promoting sustainability or advising, training, or consulting others on how to achieve it.

 

Tourism & Hospitality Award

Winning this Award requires you to showcase exceptional creativity and forward-thinking, introducing groundbreaking concepts services, or products that revolutionise the industry and redefine the guest experience.

If you are not confident you can demonstrate sufficient involvement (past, present, and future) of Tourism and Hospitality, you can enter for another Award instead. There are separate Large Business, Medium Business and Small Business categories.
